So, I think I have a fairly fleshed-out idea of what my posting here will look like. I’m one of those people who needs a set schedule in order to keep me on track, so I’ve been working out what I want the posts to be over the last week or two. One of the first things I knew I wanted was to keep Wednesday for my current WIP. Now, seeing as I have a large number of WIPs currently, I have plenty to choose from, so I’m sharing the one for which I have a deadline: the Into the Dark tank by this.bird.knits. I am about 1/5 through the knit and have completed the first of the chart repeats. It’s a bottom-up tank that uses fingering weight yarn at a loose gauge. I’m knitting mine with a 4.5mm needle for the body and am making the size 8, which has a finished bust circumference of 53″, so will have almost 10″ of positive ease. There is a cropped version and a version that fits a bit longer. I will be making the cropped one, as I would like to wear it over dresses in the spring and summer. The yarn I am using is Palouse Yarn Company’s Lolo Sock, and for my size I’ll be using no more than 2 (100g) skeins. A link to the designer’s Instagram post with the finished item can be found here.

This will be the third test knit I’ve done for this designer. And although I prefer top-down patterns, I haven’t had any fit/length issues with the patterns of theirs I’ve made.
I’d love to know what you’re working on right now!
