I have been working to get the pattern written and refined the past week, after having graded it and finishing up the tech-edit math, and it’s ready to test! I have a link to the test application form here and encourage you to sign up if you have time. https://forms.gle/PspiH64YJRxMnV9d9

The pattern is written for bulky (weight 5) yarn and the largest size uses about 125g in total. It can also be made in one color. There are 3 sizes, adult S, M, and L.
I came up with the idea after a rainstorm rolled through our city this past summer. Living in the desert we don’t get much rain, especially in the warm months, and the rain was pouring down in a way that made the lights through our windows look magical. The word “petrichor” means the pleasant smell of the rain after a dry period, so I thought it fit perfectly. It’s a quick knit that only took me a few hours. I’m very proud of how it worked out.
